ABOUT CCSS

CCSS was founded in 2019 by Cal Poly biology professor Dr. Emily Taylor to assist people in safely managing interactions with rattlesnakes, one of the only animals in California that are potentially deadly to humans.

Rattlesnakes are important members of natural communities, and protecting them while ensuring the safety of people, their pets, and livestock is of utmost importance to CCSS.
